The top three most expensive listings to hit each of the tri-county real estate markets — Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach — over the past week ranged from nearly $3.3 million to nearly $36 million, according to Zillow data. Miami Beach had the priciest property and a home in Fort Lauderdale was on the low end.
#1 Casa Clara, at 212 West Dilido Drive, was listed for $35.9 million. The newly completed seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom and two-half-bath mansion is on a double-lot with views of downtown Miami. The half-acre property includes 120 feet of bay frontage, a home theater, pool, catering kitchen and guest quarters, as well as a rooftop terrace. Julian Johnston of Calibre International Realty has the listing for the 11,500-square-foot mansion. The Miami Beach property last sold in 2012 for less than $1 million.
#2 A second newly built home in Miami Beach was listed – 190 Palm Avenue is on the market for $22.95 million. The Mediterranean-style Palm Island estate spans 12,386 square feet and has seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Alex Daguer of Fortune International Realty is the listing agent for the property, which last sold in 1995 for $850,000. It features a chef’s kitchen, inner courtyards, a pool and wood beam ceilings.
#3 A Bay Harbor Islands home hit the market for $9.4 million. The 7,161-square-foot home, at 9440 West Broadview Drive, has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and one half-bath. It was built in 2008 and last sold in 2006 for nearly $3.9 million. Nina Rudolph of Harding Realty is the listing agent. The property, called Villa Magnolia, includes a walk-in wine cellar, sound system and cabana guest house.
#1 A five-bedroom, seven-bathroom home in Delray Beach was listed for $7.25 million. The 7,371-square-foot house, at 710 North Ocean Boulevard, features an arched hallway entrance, butler’s pantry, living room with stone fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows. Randall Stofft designed the property, which is being listed by Laura Gallagher of Fite Shavell & Associates.
#2 Another Delray Beach home is on the market for nearly $6.7 million. The three-bedroom, six-bathroom home, at 3633 North Ocean Boulevard, was built in 1965. The 0.7-acre property last sold in 1972 for $185,000. Robert Mayer of Premier Estate Properties has the listing.
#3 A nearly 2,500-square-foot home, at 308 Cocoanut Row in Palm Beach, was listed for $5.7 million. That comes out to about $2,309 per square foot. The property, built in 1925, has three bedrooms and five bathrooms. It last sold in 204 for $1.16 million. Corcoran’s James McCann has the listing.
#1 For $6.2 million, you can buy your very own “sky residence” in Hollywood: this 5,086-square-foot penthouse, located at 2711 South Ocean Drive, has ultra-modern style and is furnished by designer Steven G. Unit 4002 has five bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, custom lighting and Italian marble. Julian Cohen of Coldwell Banker has the listing, which is being offered turn-key.
#2 The two-story home at 2832 Northeast 24th Place in Fort Lauderdale has hit the market with a price tag of $4.69 million. Described in its listing as “custom built,” the home has five bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, marble floors and granite countertops. Some of its more notable features include a fully equipped movie theater and a glass-domed cathedral ceiling. Alex Bruno of Re/Max Executive Realty has the listing.
#3 A waterfront house off of East Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale was just listed for sale at $3.295 million. The home, built in 1999, is at 137 Nurmi Drive. It has six bedrooms, six bathrooms, 100 feet of canal frontage and an outdoor pool. Giancarlo Cuffia of Engel & Volkers has the listing.
